Ora Winter Cider

I know I’m a little late but Happy Fall! The weather is just really starting to feel like Fall here in North Carolina, so I’m fully embracing Fall flavors. One of my favorite flavor combinations this time of year is apple + cinnamon. There is something warm + cozy about those two things together.

Now, while this is called an Ora Winter Cider, don’t be mistaken. This cocktail is perfect for all of your cooler weather months…really any time! The Ora Winter Blend infused bourbon kicks this drink up several notches so do yourself a favor + add this to your Thanksgiving + Christmas menus. You (as well as your guests) will be happy you did. Not a bourbon drinker? Feel free to simply brew the tea and add it to your cider!

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Ora Winter Blend

  • 2-3 oz bourbon (or whiskey) of choice

  • 6 oz apple cider

  • Apple slices + cinnamon stick, for garnish

Method

Add 1 heaping teaspoon of Ora Winter Blend to your bourbon + allow the bourbon to infuse for a minimum of 10 minutes. As a note, the longer you allow the infusion to sit, the stronger the tea flavor will be.

When the infusion is ready to your taste, fill a glass with some ice + pour in the apple cider. Strain or pour the bourbon over the top + garnish with the apple slices + cinnamon stick, if using.

Stir with the cinnamon stick to blend (this can also be shaken, but I love to see the gradient effect).

Enjoy + Be Well
